White House Cites $49 Trillion CEA Score of DSA Agenda; Release Mixes Two Separate Scenarios and Overstates Per-Household Cost

The release says socialist and communist regimes “have killed some 100 million people.” It says the agenda of the Democratic Socialists of America and “the Radical Left,” naming Medicare for All, open borders, mass amnesty, abolishing police and prisons, and the Green New Deal, would cost $49 trillion over ten years, “or as much as $400,000 per American household.” It also says the agenda would “slash wages by nearly 30%,” and that “mortgage rates would soar past 12%.”
