SEC Issues Correction to Notice on Potential FINRA Accredited Investor Exam Designation

The Securities and Exchange Commission published a correction to a prior notice about the potential designation of passage of an accredited investor exam to be developed by FINRA. The correction (Release No. 33-11445, File No. 4-931) rewrites the ADDRESSES section, which tells the public how to submit comments on the proposal: through the SEC’s online comment form, by email to rule-comments@sec.gov with File No. 4-931 in the subject line, or on paper to the SEC Secretary in Washington. The original notice appeared in the Federal Register on October 5, 2026. The correction was filed on November 2, 2026, and appears in the Federal Register on November 3, 2026.
